Hiking 3 stages (north)
A selection of three stages along the northern part of the Camí de Cavalls that will allow you to get to know some of the most emblematic sections of this path, as well as some of the most spectacular landscapes in Menorca. The north of Menorca is characterized by its wild lands defined by the Tramuntana wind, which has given it a shape and a landscape with its own personality. You will discover the most unknown and wild part of the island in the best possible way.
PROGRAMME
Night before
- Overnight stay in Maó before the first stage.
Stage 1. Ses Salines de Fornells – Binimel·là: 10.2 km | 165 m
- Follow the northern coastline along one of the most spectacular sections of the Camí de Cavalls. You’ll pass Macar Gran and Cavalleria, among others.
- Transfer to the start of the stage from Maó.
- Transfer from the end of the stage and overnight stay in Ferreries.
Stage 2. Binimel·là – Camí des Alocs: 10.8 km | 469 m
- Known as the most demanding section of the Camí de Cavalls, it also offers some of the island’s most beautiful scenery, passing coves as iconic as Pregonda.
- Transfer to the start of the stage from Ferreries.
- Transfer from the end of the stage and overnight stay in Ferreries.
Stage 3. Camí des Alocs – Algaiarens: 12.2 km | 198 m
- Unspoilt coves, cliffs and woodland areas, finishing in the Vall or Algaiarens area, where you’ll find two of the beaches most cherished by Menorcans.
- Transfer to the start of the stage from Ferreries.
- Transfer from the end of the stage and overnight stay in Ciutadella.
