MTB 2 stages
Two circular routes around Maó. The east of the island is full of ancient rural paths that allow you to discover the inland landscapes of this part of Menorca, as well as the rich archaeological legacy of Talayotic Menorca. In general, these are much more affordable paths than the demanding and technical Camí de Cavalls. Each of the two routes offers different course options in order to be adapted to the preferences and level of each participant.
PROGRAMME
Night before
- Overnight stay in Maó before the first stage.
Stage 1. Talayotic Menorca: 37 km | 312 m
- A journey into the island’s past, allowing you to discover some of the main Talayotic Menorca archaeological sites. The route follows tracks of medium and low difficulty.
- Overnight stay in Maó.
Stage 2. Northern Maó area: 36 km | 317 m
- A circular route along tracks in the north-east of the island, including the option —for the more adventurous— of riding a section of the Camí de Cavalls in the s’Albufera des Grau Natural Park.
- Overnight stay in Maó.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
